A Film Premiere &
A Cabaret Show!

This past December, I had the pleasure of filming the role of Susan Baker in the feature film "Merry Good Enough." More to come about when and where it is being released. (But here's a hint: it is a movie set at Christmas time!) At this time, I am able to share that the film has its North American premiere this Thursday night, October 12th, 2023 at 7:15 PM as the opening night film of the New Hampshire Film Festival. It was such a joy to work on. Caroline Keene's script is deeply poignant and funny. She and Dan Kennedy were a dream team as directors, and his Director of Photography skills, truly topnotch. And the actors involved - just terrific. Every moment was a creative joy. Plus, I got to re-connect with iceskating after decades for the role.

I cannot wait to see it! Join me there!

A New Solo Cabaret Show!

After a long gap, I'm beyond excited to be returning to the cabaret stage with a new show, "The Space In-Between," at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, Thursday, November 30th, 2023 at 7 PM.

This passion project has been born straight from my heart, and I am thrilled with the arrangements that Gregory Toroian has created with me, that he and his trio - including Skip Ward and David Silliman - are bringing to life through their magnificent talent. This dream of mine is being shaped expertly under Lina Koutrakos' invaluable direction.

I'd love to share this show with you.

THE SPACE IN-BETWEEN:
Holding herself to no definitive conclusions, singer/actress Margaret Curry explores, stimulates and delights in, with both joy and courage, the spaces in-between. The universe between the present and the future, the bad and the good, the hope and what’s-to-come. Through both song and story, Curry unwraps it all with music, lyrics and distinctive rhythms. From compositions by Johnny Mercer and Yip Harburg all the way to Chaka Khan, Roy Orbison and Jimmy Webb she tells her story (and some of ours) with the musical aid of Award-winning arranger Gregory Toroian at the piano, Skip Ward on bass and David Silliman on the drums. Directed by Lina Koutrakos.
